Event opening times: 11am – 8.30pm Thursday & 11am – 5pm Friday.

The 2017 Air Show will once again see our award winning seafronts and west greensward be transformed over two days into a fun filled display/event site and flight viewing area.  Impressive aerobatic displays will take to the skies whilst a whole host of exhibition, trade stands, food court and on-site entertainment are available at ground level

Just after the evening flights, Clacton Pier will host a spectacular fireworks display on Thursday evening.

Clacton Air Show

Evening flights will take place on Thursday 24th followed by a spectacular fireworks display at Clacton Pier.
Titan the Robot will also make a welcome return both days at this years event. Performing on Thurs: 11.30am, 1pm & 5.30pm and Fri: 11.45am & 4.30pm.

Tune in “live” over the two days on Radio Airshow 103.5FM / 729 MW with BBC Essex.

Flying regulation notice
“Restrictions of Flying Regulations have been established under Article 239 of the Air Navigation Order 2016 between 12.30 hours (local) and 21.00 hours (local) on 24th and 12.30 hours (local) and 17.00 25th August 2017. As such no Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems shall be flown at this location (or other location description) without the permission of the Clacton Airshow Flying Display Director.”

West Road Car Park, Clacton
£6.00 per vehicle. West Road Car Park (overseen by The Rotary Club of Clacton-on-Sea A short walk to site and also offers an accessible shuttle bus service (1 x user & 1 x carer) directly to the show site.

Parking & Park & Ride Service

2017 park & ride service:
Clacton Service £10.
Park & ride service provided by Talisman Coachlines pick up starts at 09.30 from Clacton Factory Outlet and drops off at Anglefield (off Carnarvon Road), Clacton. Last collection from Anglefield will be at 18:00.

Holland-on-Sea Service £5.
Pick up start at 09.30 from Holland Haven and drops off at Anglefield (off Carnarvon Road), Clacton. Last collection from Anglefield will be at 18:00.

Main event car park:
The main event car park is located at West Road (overseen by Rotary Club of Clacton-on-Sea), which is a short distance to the main show site priced at £6.

Thursday tickets valid from 7:30am to 10pm on the 24th only.
Friday tickets valid 7:30am to 7pm on the 25th only.

A free shuttle bus for accessible users will be running both days.

Local car parks and coach parking:
A list of local Tending District Council run car parks, Blue Badge information and coach parking details can be found at www.tendringdc.gov.uk. Martello Coach Park (limited spaces) is the nearest Coach Park to the event site (please check closing times when parking in these car parks).

Latest Airshow flight announcement – Red Arrows flying both days! The RAF Aerobatic Team put on a dramatic show with their distinctive Hawk jets,  will be flying high at both days of this year’s Clacton Airshow. The team is the highlight of any event and has confirmed its place in the line-up for August.  Union flag-inspired design has been retained on the Hawk jets. The makeover will be seen by millions of people when the Red Arrows display both at home and overseas during 2015. Complete with flowing red, white and blue lines, the design emphasises the team’s important role as a global ambassador for the United Kingdom and Royal Air Force. The team comprises fast jet pilots, engineers and support staff with frontline, operational experience and is a regular visitor to Clacton.

 Clacton Air Show East Anglia’s biggest event

There will be catering, trade stands and entertainment at ground level stretching along the show site on Clacton Air Show seafront.
