Colchester Zoo Baby Rhino Mabaso

After a 16 month gestation period Cynthia finally gave birth to a male calf on the 11th July.

Mabaso has joined mum and some of his new neighbours in the Kingdom of the Wild enclosure.

Mabaso has been having a great time exploring and meeting some of the other residents he shares his home with, including a female rhinos and one year old calf Pembe.
