TENDRING HUNDRED SHOW

Tendring Show 2009 Show will take place on Saturday 14th July 2018

Lawford House Park, Nr Manningtree, Essex  Attracting crowds in the region of 25,000 each year. Essex County’s Premier Agricultural Event. Come and join the fun!

The Showground is already at capacity with a full range of tradestands and exhibitors. A working farm machinery  demonstration is planned for our President’s Main Ring with our Theme this year based around ‘The Potato’, showing the process from field to plate

 Attractions & Events

The ‘Potato’ will be the star of the Show this year, as we take our visitors on a journey from field to crisp packet, showing the various stages of production. Our main President’s Ring will provide a working display of all the huge modern farm machinery used on fields throughout the Tendring Hundred from planting through to harvesting, ready for use in our homes.

** NEW** Lifestyle and Art Show Marquee

Fancy a little bit of Luxury? If so then the new Lifestyle Marquee & Art Show Marquee is the place for you! Housing everything from bespoke furniture, fabrics and rugs to designer clothing, shoes and gifts. This year the marquee will be doubled in size to incorporate the Art Show, with over 250 original works of art and sculptures. It will certainly be worth a visit.

Have-a-go Sports Area

Back again in 2013 with sporting demonstrations from Archery to skate boarding, as well as Debbie Millar and her team of dances demonstrating the new craze ‘Bokwa’!

Craft and Shoppers Marquee

Don’t miss the Craft and Shoppers Marquee, with crafts and unique gifts ranging from handmade soaps to wood turned toys, with over 30 exhibitors.

Food Hall

Filled with fresh local produce as well as more exotic foods, the Food Hall is a popular destination at the Show. Our Chefs, Mark David and Malcolm Long will provide cookery demonstrations throughout the day.

Education Tent

Check out all the exhibits from over 40 local primary and secondary schools, and see what our students have been up to this year! Student performances throughout the day. New this year, is the large Outdoor Zone to walk through.

The Countryside and Conservation Area

This area will bring you in close contact with nature, and provide information about how humans influence, use, manage and protect our natural environment.

Community Club Tent

Back again this year. A tent for all our local clubs and societies to promote what they do, and hopefully encourage new members – from horticulture to photography, there should be something for everyone to enjoy and learn more about..
